Just a note to say that you did my caricature today at the NASB Conference in San Francisco. I was the guy from South Texas (with the hugs), and I just wanted you to know that you were not only a tremendous artist, but a super entertainer! I was so impressed by your demeanor and jovial nature with all of the participants, and I've never seen that in another caricaturist. Congratulations on your professionalism. If there is a way to bring you to South Texas, I'm going to try to make it happen.
Thanks for an enjoyable time of interaction, and for a nice caricature (my first ever) that will hang proudly in my office. You're the BEST!

The client, BTW, absolutely loved you. You managed to establish such a rapport with her during your one phone call that she was ready to adopt you into her family...
Also, I did a job some months ago at Tarara Winery, where I had a similar experience. I was there, doing an event, when someone in management strolled by to chat. I gave her the usual pitch: you should have us here more often, this is a big hit, yada, yada, yada, when she stopped me in mid stream to say that they do have an artist there often, that I’m very nice and all, but she’s not at all sure why they called me. They usually get you, and you’re wonderful.
